In the 18th and 19th centuries, Hungarian aristocracy, as well upper middle class, began to collect Chinese art in large quantities, trying decorate their estates with most unusual objects. Expensive exquisite Japanese porcelain however became a symbol of status wealth from then on. porcelains appeared interior aristocracy middle-class, integrated popular decorative styles same period, were an extremely important part collections centuries. The study them is therefore great importance for research domestic environment daily life these wealthy people Hungary period. this essay, I will rely on documentary artifacts illustrate collected by classes introduce its role decoration, analyse how attitudes European collectors toward society changed during time.
